Sample Submission

To ensure accurate and timely analysis, please follow our sample submission process:

1. Contact Us

  • Phone/Email:
    • You can begin communication with us through our Contact Form on our “Contact Us” page, phone number (410-740-8562), or email the specific scientist you would like to speak to.
    • Discuss your materials or analytical problem with one of our professional scientists or engineers by phone or email.
    • This helps us understand the nature of your problem and develop a customized analysis plan in partnership with you.
  • Quotes and Planning:
    • We will provide quotes based on the agreed-upon analysis plan.
  • Rush Jobs:
    • We often accommodate rush jobs by working extra hours for our customers.
    • Rush job availability depends on our capacity and workload.
    • Rush jobs typically incur higher fees, commonly a 60% increase.
    • Our rush fees are generally lower than the 100% rush fees charged by many laboratories.

2. Obtain a Purchase Order or Provide Payment Information

  • Payment Methods:
    • Obtain a purchase order or provide credit card information to be charged once the analysis is complete and results are reported to you.
    • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards with payment upon receipt of our invoice.
  • Check Payments:
    • Checks should be sent to our laboratory address:
      Anderson Materials Evaluation, Inc.,
9051 Red Branch Rd., Ste C,
      Columbia, MD 21045.

3. Fill Out Our Sample Submission Form

  • Submission Forms:
  • Importance of Forms:
    • Occasionally, samples are sent without proper information on whom to report results or request payment from.
    • The submission form provides essential details about your sample and the specific analysis you need.
  • Remembering Details:
    • If we discussed your analysis two months ago, please forgive us if we do not remember every detail.
    • A well-filled submission form helps us accurately recall and proceed with your analysis.

Note:

  • DSC Analysis: No DSC analysis will be performed without the form being completely filled out due to the DSC’s sensitivity to corrosive attacks.
  • Corrosive Materials: If your material might be corrosive, inform us or authorize us to perform other analyses to determine its corrosiveness.
  • Risk of DSC Cell Replacement: DSC analysis is performed at your risk for cell replacement if you claim your material is not corrosive and it proves otherwise.

4. Select and Send Samples

  • Proper Selection and Handling:
    • Proper sample selection and handling are critical to ensuring integrity and accuracy, as well as preventing delays or rework.
    • Please refer to our sample selection and handling guide for important considerations.
  • Shipping Address:
    • Send samples to:
      Anderson Materials Evaluation, Inc.,
9051 Red Branch Rd., Ste C,
      Columbia, MD 21045.
  • Package Attention:
    • If you’ve discussed your analysis project with one of our scientists, send the package to their attention.
