After her M.Sc., she worked as a Research Project Assistant in a Bio-Inspired Polymeric Materials research lab at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati (October 2017 to May 2018). She did her Ph.D. in Chemistry (2018-2024) from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), USA. Her research project was synthesis and surface modifications of 2D nanomaterials and understanding the stability and biological impact on environmentally relevant organisms.
